Welcome to our Farm! We are a small cow-calf operation located in west-central Missouri. Currently we are growing 100% Registered Horned Hereford Cattle. My wife Rhonda and I both grew up on the family farm and never really left except for a short time to get our college education. We married, 28 years ago, after college and moved back to the family farm where we are still actively involved to this day.
The Lord blessed our marriage with four beautiful daughters (Abigail, Hope, Deborah, and Rebekah) who now range in age from 16-25 years. (Hope married Cole Campbell in June 2017 & Abby married Jacob Thompson in June 2018. Cole & Jacob are a huge blessing to Circle Y!) With their growing older we felt led to start a new branch off of the family farm that they could be more involved in. Thus, was born Circle Y Herefords in the fall of 2011.
God is always good and we feel he has led us in every step of this process. We owe many thanks to close friends and family who have given advice and hands on help in the start-up of this new venture. We also feel God placed Paul and Sue Wade (Wade's Herefords - Antlers, OK) and Monte and Ashley Shockley (Shockley Horned Herefords - Poteau, OK) in our path when we set out to purchase our breeding stock. The exceptional cattle we received from them as well as knowledge from their years of experience have been invaluable to us.
We are getting top quality genetics by purchasing and using top quality bulls. We are an all-natural service breeder raising 100% Registered Horned Hereford Cattle. We hope to offer quality bulls and females that can only come from the TLC given on a small family farm. We feel that these home raised cattle will add value to our customers operations.
